Social tax revenue is used to pay for retirement security and public health care. An enterprise is responsible for paying social tax on behalf of a worker. The worker’s net pay is taxed at a level of 33%.

Personal income tax

Individual earnings tax is a tax imposed on a person’s earnings, profits, interest, and other cash flow sources during the year. In most cases, the tax is controlled by legislation. The country’s introductory income tax rate is 20%. However, there are reductions available.

Income tax rate in Estonia

Estonia has a 20 percent proportionate tax ratio that covers all types of revenue earned by a local person. A 10% tax is applied to some retirement benefits. Profits formerly entitled to a discounted ratio of 14 percent at the basis of the issuing Estonian business will be liable to a WHT of 7% beginning in 2018.
